Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Days - Spearfish, SD

Job Description:

• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans

• Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises and mobility training

• Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and home exercises

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Active PTA license in South Dakota (or eligibility for licensure)

• CPR/BLS certification required

• Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred but not required
