- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in core subjects, adhering to the established curriculum
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Develop lesson plans that accommodate the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
- Participate in professional development and school events
- Implement classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning in students
- Maintain accurate student records in compliance with school policies
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field (required)
- Valid NC Teaching License (preferred for certified roles)
- Non-certified candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree and a passion for teaching
- Previous classroom or instructional experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and administration
