Histology Technician – Pathology Lab

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Histology Technician to join our team in Murray, KY. The Histology Technician will be responsible for the preparation and processing of human tissue samples for microscopic examination in a full service histology laboratory. Must have ASCP or be eligible to get within a year of hire.

Job Responsibilities:
• Process tissue samples for microscopic examination
• Prepare, stain, and mount tissue samples for microscopic examination
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Maintain laboratory records
• Perform quality assurance and quality control procedures
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Qualifications:
• Knowledge of histology laboratory procedures
• Ability to use laboratory equipment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


Working Hours: Multiple shifts open
