Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Lake Villa, IL

Contract Length: 36 Weeks

Compensation: Up to $64/hr based on experience

Job Description:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs.
• Provide direct therapy to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create a comprehensive support system for students.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate and support families in understanding their child's communication needs and strategies for improvement.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Illinois state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
