Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Lake Villa, IL

Contract Length: 36 Weeks

Compensation: Up to $69/hr based on experience

Connected Health Care, a recruitment and staffing firm focused on Healthcare and Educational Services, is partnering with an esteemed Educational Services client to find a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist near Lake Villa, IL.

Job Description:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address various emotional and behavioral issues.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create a comprehensive support system for students.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
• Educate and support families and staff in understanding students' psychological needs and strategies for improvement.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Certification as a School Psychologist through the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
• Illinois state licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
