Connected Health Care is seeking a passionate and skilled Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our partner’s healthcare team near Philip, South Dakota. This is a 13-week travel contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate—ideal for nurses seeking both adventure and long-term stability.
Job Description
As a Travel LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients while collaborating closely with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes. This position is perfect for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians.

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.

Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.

Assist patients with daily activities and mobility.

Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Requirements
Education & Certification:

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

Current LPN License in South Dakota or compact state eligibility.

BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred).
Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience (hospital or long-term care preferred).

Travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required.

Shift: Day Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
