This full-time night shift role offers guaranteed hours, potential overtime, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
What You’ll Do:
As a vital part of our clinical team, you'll deliver personalized nursing care and support to residents in a facility with a strong focus on dementia care. Your expertise will help enhance the quality of life for patients from various tribes, especially those speaking Native languages. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills:
- Valid AZ LPN License
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with long-term care residents
- Experience with dementia care strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Fluency in Native languages
- Knowledge of cultural considerations related to Native American patients
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse with at least 1 year of LTC experience
- Prior experience working with elderly populations, particularly in dementia care
Other Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to arrange housing before starting (housing not provided)
- Willingness to adapt to facility needs and procedures
