Connected Health Care has an immediate opening for an LPN opening near Kirksville, MO. The contract LTC Nurse (RN) role comes with a generous hourly rate of $45.00. Are you interested?

The LTC Nurse (LPN) functions under the direction of the Physician, Clinical Lead and/or DON of the Nursing home. The LPN recognizes the patient's needs and symptoms in advance and provides care for the patient while following guidelines set by the state of Missouri. This includes preparing patients for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating of tests and follow-up care and recording treatment in the medical record.

In your first few weeks in this LTC Nurse role, you can expect to:

• Recognise patients' needs and symptoms in advance and provide care for the patient while following guidelines set by the state of Missouri
• Assist during treatments, coordinate tests and follow-up care and record treatment in the medical record
• Help with resident/family education and demonstrate competency and skills to serve geriatric populations
• Perform other duties as necessary.

To apply for this LTC Nurse position, you will need at least one year of experience as an LPN. You will also require the following:

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Accept and recognize differences among people
• Excellent communication skills
• Licensure and Certifications: Current State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• BLS preferred.
