Job Title: Local Travel LVN – Denton, Texas

Contract Length: 26 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,680 (based on experience)

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team for a local/travel opportunity in Denton, Texas. Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in compliance with care plans, facility policies, and state regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, progress, and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and proper care techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Adapt to various healthcare settings and contribute to the team’s goals effectively.

Orientation Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Post-Orientation Work Schedule:
5 eight-hour shifts per week, 6a-2p or 2p-10p
Must be willing to alternate shifts to assist in meeting staffing needs. 
Scheduling pattern includes every other weekend. 

Education and Certification Requirements

• Current and unrestricted LVN license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of LVN experience preferred (travel experience is a plus).
• 2 professional references from 2 different previous employers submitted with your application. 
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience in long term care/skilled nursing strongly preferred. 
• Experience in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
