Hospital Setting - Full Time

Patient Care: Assist with providing direct patient care, including administering medications, dressing wounds, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, feeding, and mobility.

Nursing Assessments: Conduct basic patient assessments, including gathering patient health histories, noting any changes in condition, and reporting observations to the nursing team.

Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or under the direction of registered nurses.

Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients for changes in their condition and report any concerns or abnormalities to the nursing staff.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with registered nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Documentation: Accurately document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions in the electronic medical records (EMR) or other hospital documentation systems.

Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with education on various health topics, including disease management, medication instructions, and discharge planning.

Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.

Equipment and Supply Management: Ensure that medical equipment and supplies are well-maintained and properly stocked for patient care.

Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, such as code blue or rapid response calls.

Support for Families: Offer emotional support and information to patients' families, answering questions and providing reassurance as needed.

Compliance: Follow hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure patient safety and maintain compliance with healthcare standards.

Shift Handover: Provide concise and accurate handover reports to the incoming nursing staff at the end of each shift.
- Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' needs and rights, ensuring they receive compassionate and appropriate care during their hospital stay.
