Job Requirements:
- Education Requirements:Â Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with appropriate Special Education endorsement (or eligibility for certification).
- Certifications Requirements:Â CPI or other approved deescalation training.
- Experience Requirements:Â Minimum of 1 year working in a Life Skills setting preferred, with a strong understanding of individualized instruction, adaptive curriculum, and behavior support strategies.
- Other Requirements:Â Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Commitment to supporting every student's potential and fostering a positive, inclusive school community.

- Administer the WA-AIM state assessment for students on alternate standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that promotes independence and social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster meaningful inclusion opportunities.
