Travel L&D / OB RN – Start ASAP – Critical Access Facility – Valentine, NE

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Travel Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics Registered Nurse (L&D / OB RN) for a critical access hospital near Valentine, Nebraska. This is your opportunity to make a difference in a rural community while enjoying a rewarding travel nursing experience.

Assignment Overview:

  • Position: Travel L&D / OB Registered Nurse

  • Location: Near Valentine, NE

  • Setting: Critical Access Hospital

  • Schedule: 3x12s – Full-time, 36 hours/week

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Duration: Travel assignment with potential extensions

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care

  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to emergent situations

  • Support patient and family education and emotional needs

  • Administer medications, perform assessments, and maintain documentation

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a critical access environment

Certifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Compact or Nebraska) – required

  • Minimum 2 years of recent L&D / OB nursing experience – strongly preferred

  • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN

  • Proven ability to work independently in rural, resource-limited environments
