Job Description: As a Travel Med Surg RN, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit.
- Assessment: Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and update medical records.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Education: Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatments, and recovery plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Education and Certification Requirements: To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO ANY MED SURG UNIT
- 2 years EXP
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion STRONGLY REQUIRED
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS
- Must be willin goto work Thanksgiving holiday including Friday and weekend after
- State License
