Full Time ER RN – 12-Hour Day Shifts – Big Timber, Montana

Connected Health Care is partnering with a well-respected healthcare facility in Big Timber, Montana to find a Temp to Perm ER RN for 12-hour day shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) to provide care across various settings, including the ER, acute care floor, long-term care, and occasionally in an assisted living facility.

Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, responding to trauma, medical emergencies, and a wide variety of acute conditions.
• Assist in caring for patients in acute care, long-term care, and assisted living facilities as needed.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, adjusting care as necessary to meet the needs of the individual.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurse practitioners, to implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
• Provide patient and family education regarding care plans, discharge instructions, and health management.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• MT State RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred.
• Experience in ER nursing or critical care nursing is preferred.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in the ER or critical care setting.
• Experience in acute care, long-term care, and assisted living preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills for working with a multidisciplinary team and providing support to patients and families.
