Locum Tenens ER Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Watertown, SD
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $4,000 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care is actively seeking an experienced Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 13-week contract in Watertown, SD. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality emergency care in a supportive and dynamic rural hospital setting. Job Description:

Provide comprehensive care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department
-
Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage treatment plans
-
Respond to emergent conditions and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff
-
Deliver urgent and life-saving care while maintaining a calm and efficient presence
-
Accurately document all care provided in the facility's EHR system
-
Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Education & Certification Requirements:
-
Master's Degree from an accredited NP or PA program
-
Current and unrestricted South Dakota NP or PA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
-
National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
-
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience required

Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently in a rural ER setting
