Travel Locum Tenens Physician Assistant (PA) – Gastroenterology (GI) - Hobbs, NM
Contract Length: 26 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $5,200 per week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a Travel Locum Tenens Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Gastroenterology (GI) for an exciting opportunity in Hobbs, NM. Job Description
- Provide comprehensive GI care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and assist in treatment planning.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Assist in performing and managing endoscopic procedures under supervision as appropriate.
- Document all patient encounters and maintain detailed medical records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on treatment options, preventive care, and ongoing GI health management.
- Maintain compliance with institutional policies and medical best practices.
Education and Certification Requirements
- Active New Mexico Physician Assistant (PA) License required.
- GI (Gastroenterology) experience highly preferred but not required.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience required.
- NCCPA certification required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
