Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, with successful completion of accredited MLT program
  • Certifications Requirements: WV Clinical Lab Tech Licensure & Certification, CPR & First Aid certifications, Drug & Alcohol test clearance
  • Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of laboratory experience in a hospital setting
  • Other Requirements: Ability to pass fingerprint-based background check through WV CARES, flexibility to work day, evening, or night shifts, strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely laboratory testing and analysis according to hospital protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure proper specimen collection and processing.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration and quality control procedures are followed.
  • Document test results accurately and communicate findings to medical staff promptly.
  • Execute safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
