Travel MedSurg RN – McAlester, Oklahoma
Are you a dedicated MedSurg RN looking for an exciting travel nursing opportunity? We are hiring experienced nurses to join a dynamic medical-surgical unit in McAlester, Oklahoma. This position offers competitive pay, travel-friendly accommodations, and a supportive team environment.
Job Details:
- Location: McAlester, Oklahoma
- Employment Type: Travel, Full-Time
- Facility Type: Hospital – Medical-Surgical Unit
- Shift: Varied shifts available
- Patient Ratio: 1:7 (for travel RNs)
- Unit: 3N (May float to rehab unit based on census)
- EMR System: Meditech
- Travel-Friendly Accommodations: Lower rates for hospital workers available at Candlewood and American Inn
- Start Date: ASAP
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management
- Monitor vital signs, lab results, and overall patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Active RN License (Oklahoma or Compact) REQUIRED
- BLS Certification REQUIRED
- ACLS Certification PREFERRED
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent MedSurg experience REQUIRED
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus!
