Job Description:

As a Med/Surg RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Patient Care: Deliver high-quality medical care to a diverse patient population, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring.

• Medication Management: Administer and manage medications according to established protocols and physician orders.

• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible patient care and outcomes.

• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to ensure proper care and compliance with regulations.

• Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as necessary.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.

• Licensure: Current Pennsylvania RN license or compact license. 

• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
