Position Overview: As a Full-Time Med/Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. Utilizing your clinical expertise, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, implement treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess their overall condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing role (preferred).

• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
