Job Description
Full-Time Med/Surg Registered Nurse -Â Â Near Wichita, KS
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is proud to partner with a respected hospital near Wichita, Kansas to find a dedicated Med/Surg Registered Nurse. This is a full-time opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive environment focused on patient-centered care.
Job Description:

Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with established policies and procedures
-
Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and administer medications
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate individualized care plans
-
Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance
-
Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
-
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
-
Respond effectively to emergency situations and participate in code response as needed
Education and Certification Requirements:
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
-
Current RN license in the state of Kansas (or compact state eligibility)
-
BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) required
-
ACLS preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months
-
Prior Med/Surg experience preferred, but not required
