Connected Health Care is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our client's team near the Columbus, OH area. Our client is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community.

Job Description:

As a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures, analyzing specimens, and interpreting results. You will work under the supervision of a medical technologist or pathologist and assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures
• Analyze and interpret laboratory results
• Prepare specimens for analysis
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
• Follow laboratory safety protocols
• Document and report laboratory results accurately and timely

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate's degree in medical laboratory technology or a related field
• MLT certification from a recognized accrediting agency (ASCP or AMT)
