Job Description:

• Oversee the daily operations of the oncology unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and streamline operations.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative teams to coordinate patient care and address any issues.
• Manage patient care plans, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up, while maintaining accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
• Participate in budget planning and resource allocation to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada.
• Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role in oncology.
• Strong knowledge of oncology treatment protocols and best practices.
