Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments to patients and monitor their responses.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that documentation meets required standards.
• Educate patients and their families on illness, wellness, and the recovery process.
• Support patient admission and discharge processes.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures as well as nursing best practices.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current Idaho RN license or compact state RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, with additional experience in ED and LTC highly valued.
• Excellent clinical skills with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
