Connected Health Care is seeking a Medical Technologist with Generalist Experience for a evening shift travel/contract assignment at a highly respected healthcare facility in Illinois. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and adaptable professional who is ready to thrive in a laboratory environment while contributing to exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized diagnostic testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and other core lab areas.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results through meticulous quality control practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely and accurate results critical to patient care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
- ASCP or AMT certification (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent generalist experience in a clinical lab setting.
- Flexibility to work night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
