Job Description:
- Perform various medical laboratory tests, procedures, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
- Conduct chemical analyses of body fluids, such as blood and urine, using microscope or automatic analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment ensuring accuracy of tests and results.
- Document and report test results accurately and timely.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from a recognized accrediting agency preferred.
- State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as required by regulations.
