Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT)

Job Description:

As an MT/MLT, you will play a pivotal role in performing various laboratory tests and analyses to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases. Responsibilities include conducting routine lab procedures, analyzing specimens, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests including microbiology, hematology, chemistry, and blood bank tests.
• Analyze and interpret test results with accuracy and precision.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functionality.
• Follow established protocols and maintain quality control standards.
• Document and report test results in a timely and efficient manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field for MT; Associate degree for MLT.
• Microbiology experience preferred.
• MT/MLT certification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in laboratory information systems and computer skills.
