Position Overview Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is proud to partner with a reputable long-term care facility in Port Townsend, WA, to find a dedicated and skilled Medication Technician. Key Responsibilities:

Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents, following facility protocols and regulatory standards.

Monitor and document residents' responses to medications.
-
Maintain up-to-date medication records and ensure proper storage and handling of medications.

Assist with daily living activities, fostering a safe and supportive environment.

Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, and families regarding care and medication needs.
-
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with best practices.
Work Schedule:
-
Full-time position with a schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week.

Immediate start date.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Certifications: Active Medication Technician certification and valid license (if required by Washington State regulations). WA CNA License also accepted!

CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory.

Previous experience in a long-term care setting is strongly preferred.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
