Permanent CNA – Full-Time Day Shift – Salina, Kansas

Connected Health Care is partnering with a well-established healthcare facility in Salina, Kansas to find a Permanent CNA for full-time day shifts. This position requires a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist in providing quality patient care under the direction and supervision of professional nurses.

Job Description:

• Assist professional nurses in providing patient care by taking vital signs, transporting patients, and helping with patient interventions.
• Notify nurses of any significant changes in patients’ conditions or vital signs.
• Assist with basic patient care tasks, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and toileting patients.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during their stay in the healthcare facility.
• Assist with procedures as directed by nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Help clean and maintain patient rooms, ensuring they remain safe and comfortable.
• Restock supplies in patient rooms and treatment areas to ensure the healthcare team has what they need to provide excellent care.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operation and effective patient care.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Successful completion of a certified nurse assistant training course required.
• SRHC Spec Tech University or a Foundations Course in Nursing acceptable.
• EMT training course or 3 years of nurse assistant experience also acceptable.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or American Heart Association-Health Care Provider required.

Required Experience:

• 1-2 years of nurse assistant experience preferred, especially in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Ability to work under the supervision of nurses and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with medical staff to provide the best care for patients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritize patient care needs efficiently.
