Travel Respiratory Therapist – Neonatal | Camden, NJ
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,820 (based on experience)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with some weekends and holiday coverage required
Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm, is excited to partner with a leading healthcare facility in Camden, New Jersey, to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Travel Neonatal Respiratory Therapist (RRT). This role offers competitive weekly pay, professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a high-acuity NICU environment.
Job Description
- Provide advanced respiratory care to neonates in a high-level NICU setting
- Manage ventilators, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and other specialized respiratory support systems
- Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, making timely adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Deliver family-centered care while supporting parents through the NICU journey
Education and Certification Requirements
- Must hold NBRC RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
- Active BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required (ACLS preferred but not required)
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a NICU RRT required
- Must be fully COVID vaccinated with at least 1 booster
