Job Title: Nurse Educator

Connected Health Care is searching for a Nurse Educator to serve in a renowned hospital near Enterprise, Alabama. 

Job Summary: As a Nurse Educator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff. You will develop and implement educational programs, trainings, and initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your expertise and passion for nursing will inspire and empower our nurses to excel in their roles, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify training needs and develop comprehensive educational programs.
• Design, develop, and deliver educational materials and curricula for various nursing specialties and levels of experience.
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for both new hires and existing nursing staff.
• Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through performance evaluations and feedback from nursing staff.
• Provide ongoing support, mentoring, and guidance to nurses, promoting their career growth and development.
• Stay abreast of current trends, advancements, and best practices in nursing education and incorporate them into training programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Participate in the selection and orientation process of new nursing staff.
• Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of nursing policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Proven experience in nursing education, curriculum development, and program implementation.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate nursing staff.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging and interactive educational content.
• Proficient in using technology and multimedia tools for educational purposes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
