Job Summary: Connected Health Care is actively seeking a Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Manager who will provide leadership and expertise to ensure that all patients in the telemetry environment receive high-quality and efficient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and assume responsibility for the delivery of safe, quality patient care within assigned departments on a 24-hour basis.
• Ensure that the department's nursing practice, policies, and procedures meet all legal, accrediting, and regulatory agency requirements.
• Promote continuity of care through the use of an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care.
• Collaborate and share pertinent patient information with physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members regarding patient progress and treatment.
• Develop and implement ongoing programs to measure, monitor, assess, and enhance the quality of nursing care, contributing to hospital-wide improvements in core measures, patient safety, and service excellence within assigned units.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
• Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in PC skills, with the ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
• Familiar using Meditech
