**Job Description:**

As a Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients suffering from rheumatic diseases. Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories
- Performing diagnostic tests and interpreting results
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Prescribing medications and monitoring patient responses
- Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
- Providing patient education and counseling
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters

**Requirements:**

- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with specialization in Rheumatology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology or a related field
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing chronic conditions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
