Full-Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) – Boise, ID
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join a trusted healthcare partner in Boise, ID. Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a high-acuity setting
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and advanced clinical interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and interdisciplinary staff
- Perform rapid patient assessments and document accurate clinical findings
- Respond effectively to critical situations, including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support patient stabilization and treatment
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course
- Previous emergency department or critical care experience strongly preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to quickly adapt in high-pressure or rapidly changing patient situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional integrity
