Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $44/hr based on experience
Job Description:
Connected Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Local Travel LPN for a 13-week contract at a respected assisted living facility near Cedar Park, TX. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to elderly residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort in a supportive and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs, symptoms, and health status
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care for residents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to residents and their families about health and wellness
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care when needed
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Texas
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- At least 1 year of experience as an LPN, preferably in assisted living or long-term care settings
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in assisted living or similar facilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient needs
