Labor & Delivery RN – Travel Contract – Valentine, Nebraska

Connected Health Care is hiring for a Travel OB/Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse position located in Valentine, NE. If you're a compassionate RN looking to make a difference in women’s health and work in a beautiful, remote setting, this is a rewarding opportunity worth exploring.

Position Overview

  • Location: Valentine, NE

  • Available Shifts: Day or Night – 12 hour shifts

  • Work Schedule: 3 shifts per week

  • Start: As soon as possible

Core Responsibilities

  • Monitor mothers and infants during all stages of childbirth

  • Operate and interpret fetal monitoring systems

  • Administer labor medications and support interventions

  • Collaborate with OB/GYN providers during natural and surgical deliveries

  • Provide newborn stabilization and post-delivery patient education

  • Ensure timely, accurate charting and compliance with hospital procedures

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state

  • 1+ year of experience in labor & delivery nursing

  • Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications

  • Ability to quickly adjust to changing patient conditions and team dynamics
