Full-Time Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) - Days -Â Just North of Derby, KS
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a top-tier facility just north of Derby, Kansas to find a dedicated and experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN). This full-time opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in the fast-paced surgical environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.
Job Description:
- Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients
- Prepare operating rooms and assist surgical teams with instruments and supplies
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses during procedures
- Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CNOR certification preferred but not required
- Minimum of 1 year of perioperative nursing experience preferred
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
