Full-Time Med/Surg Registered Nurse – Just North of Derby, Kansas
Connected Health Care is partnering with a leading healthcare facility just north of Derby, Kansas to recruit a Full-Time Med/Surg Registered Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced nurses and new graduates looking to launch their career in a supportive, dynamic environment.
Job Description:
As a Med/Surg RN, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services. Responsibilities include:
- Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapy according to established protocols
- Monitoring and assessing patient conditions, documenting changes in medical records
- Collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Educating patients and families on care plans, procedures, and disease management
- Ensuring compliance with infection control, safety, and hospital policies
- Supporting new grad nurses with mentorship and hands-on guidance
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
- Open to new graduates seeking full-time opportunities
