Travel to Permanent Home Health Director – 13-Week Contract – Near Ness City, KS – Up to $2,200/Week

Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Contract Length: 13 weeks (with strong potential to convert to permanent)

Start Date: ASAP

Compensation: Up to $2,200/week
Job Responsibilities
-
Oversee daily operations of the home health department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards
-
Supervise and support clinical staff including nurses, therapists, and support personnel
-
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and care protocols
-
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements (CMS, Medicare guidelines, etc.)
-
Manage budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and performance metrics
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
-
Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
-
Serve as a liaison between leadership, staff, patients, and families
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
-
Licensure: Active RN license (Kansas or compact state preferred)

Experience:
-
Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience required
-
Prior leadership or management experience in home health or LTC strongly preferred
-
Certifications: BLS required (additional certifications preferred)
-
Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and home health operations
-
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
