Local Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Duluth, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,550 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week local travel contract in Duluth, Georgia. Join a dedicated surgical team in an inpatient OR setting and make an impact while exploring one of Georgia’s most vibrant cities.
Schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Setting: Inpatient Operating Room (4 ORs)
Job Description:

Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients during surgical procedures
-
Assist with preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of the operating room
-
Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to any changes in condition during surgery
-
Collaborate with surgical team members, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
-
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner
-
Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety standards
-
Serve as a patient advocate during the perioperative period
Education & Certification Requirements:
-
Active RN License in Georgia or Compact State
-
Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
-
BLS certification required (AHA)

Experience using Cerner charting system preferred
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, team-based environment

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
