Temp-to-Perm Physician Assistant – 13-Week Contract
Location: Near Eureka, CA
Compensation: Up to $5,600 per week (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care is seeking a Temp-to-Perm Physician Assistant (PA) for a 13-week contract with a top healthcare provider near Eureka, California. This opportunity offers excellent weekly compensation, schedule flexibility, and the chance to transition into a permanent role while working in a scenic rural community surrounded by towering redwoods and stunning coastal landscapes.
Job Description
- Provide high-quality patient care in a clinical or urgent care setting
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope of practice
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulations
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and health management
Education & Certification Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active California Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for reciprocity)
- NCCPA certification required
- DEA license (or willingness to obtain)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of one year of Physician Assistant experience preferred
Qualifications
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Adaptability in a fast-paced or rural healthcare setting
