Temp to Perm Physician Assistant – 13-Week Contract
Location:Â Garberville, CA
Compensation:Â Up to $5,600 per week (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care is seeking a Temp to Perm Physician Assistant for a 13-week contract with a respected healthcare provider in Garberville, CA. This role offers competitive weekly pay, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to work in a scenic and tight-knit community surrounded by the natural beauty of Northern California.
Job Description
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging.
- Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and families on preventive care and wellness strategies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Active California PA license (or eligibility for reciprocity).
- Board certification as a PA (NCCPA).
- DEA license (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred).
- Minimum of one year of PA experience (preferred).
- Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach.
