Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Nursing degree (ASN or BSN) from an accredited program
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a PCU or Med/Surg unit
  • Other Requirements: Ability to float within the region, excellent communication skills, strong teamwork attitude

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU unit, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patient conditions using telemetry equipment and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately.
  • Administer medications, including Heparin GTTs, IV therapies, and other treatments, following prescribed protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the EMR system.
