Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree from an accredited program
  • Certifications Requirements: KY/Compact RN License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, EKG test certification
  • Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of ER RN experience with Level I or II Trauma experience
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, proficiency in EPIC charting, ability to manage change, resilient with strong social skills, and able to work within a 75-mile radius of Pikeville, KY. COVID and HEP B vaccines required, unless valid declinations with weekly testing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality emergency care to adult patients in accordance with hospital protocols and policies.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs during 12-hour night shifts.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, technicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC electronic health record system.
  • Respond promptly to patient emergencies within the trauma and ER settings, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
