Local Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Weeks - Marion, IL
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 12-Hour Days
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,790 Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a qualified and compassionate Local Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity with a respected hospital partner in Marion, IL. This position is ideal for an experienced nurse who is looking to make an immediate impact while earning competitive compensation and working within a supportive healthcare environment.

Position Highlights:

  • 13-week local travel contract

  • Weekly pay up to $2,790 depending on experience

  • 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

  • Float to ED/ICU for medical holds only

  • No call or callback requirement

  • Every other weekend and holidays as needed

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to adult Med/Surg patients

  • Monitor patient conditions and assess changes in health status

  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders

  • Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR system

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care

  • Educate patients and families on conditions and recovery plans

  • Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and safety standards

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Illinois RN License (required)

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience

  • Recent experience with EPIC charting system (required)
