Travel Med/Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Weeks - Marion, IL
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Nights
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,850 Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Local Travel Med/Surg/Telemetry RN for a valued healthcare partner in Marion, IL. This 13-week contract offers a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Position Highlights:

  • 13-week local travel contract

  • Weekly pay up to $2,850 (based on experience)

  • 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

  • Float to medical unit as needed

  • No call-back requirements

  • Every other weekend and holiday required

Job Description:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on Med/Surg and Telemetry units

  • Monitor and assess patients with neurological conditions

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members

  • Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate documentation

  • Support recovery through patient education and emotional support

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Illinois RN license (required)

  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of strong Med/Surg and Telemetry experience

  • At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment

  • Neuro nursing experience required

  • Critical Care or Step Down experience highly preferred

  • Recent EPIC charting experience is mandatory
