Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) (preferred but not mandatory), CPR certification
  • Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of recent experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive skilled nursing care to patients in long-term care facilities during evening and night shifts, ensuring personalized treatment plans are followed and patient needs are met.
  • Monitor patient health status regularly, administer medications, and document all care provided accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, report changes, and implement care modifications as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management, medication adherence, and post-discharge care instructions.
  • Maintain compliance with all facility policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements while delivering compassionate and professional nursing services.
