Full-Time Med-Surg RN Charge Nurse – Ozark, AL

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is proud to partner with a respected healthcare facility in Ozark, AL to find a motivated Med-Surg RN Charge Nurse for a full-time position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on the Medical-Surgical unit during assigned shifts
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care
- Assist in admissions, discharges, and direct patient care as needed
- Act as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff
- Monitor staffing levels, manage scheduling needs, and ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical unit
- Previous leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
