Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree from an accredited institution
  • Certifications Requirements: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience in a hospital setting; experience working with neonatal patients of varying acuity levels; proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work 3-12 shift schedule; physical stamina for hospital environment; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; flexibility to work every 3rd weekend; ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical settings

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive neonatal nursing care to neonatal patients in a hospital setting, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to neonatal needs.
  • Monitor neonatal patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and perform specialized procedures as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Educate and support families of neonatal patients, providing guidance and emotional support throughout their hospital stay.
