Travel CCU Registered Nurse – Rhinelander, WI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $3,000 per week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a passionate and experienced Travel CCU Registered Nurse for one of our trusted hospital partners in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a critical care setting while enjoying all that Northern Wisconsin has to offer.
Position Overview:
As a Travel CCU RN, you will provide expert care to critically ill patients, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure the highest quality of patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Requirements:
• 12-hour variable shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Float to alike units within skillset
• No on-call or call-back required
Job Responsibilities:
• Deliver exceptional care to patients in the Critical Care Unit (CCU)
• Monitor, assess, and record patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate and manage critical care equipment safely and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and multidisciplinary staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Support and educate patients and families throughout the care process
Education & Certification Requirements:
• Active Wisconsin RN license (or compact state license)
• AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 2+ years ICU experience
• Prior critical access or rural hospital experience highly preferred
• Experience with occasional pediatric surgical patients (ENT or orthopedic cases) preferred
